Slack Launches an Official Complaint Against Microsoft
Slack and Microsoft have spent years battling for the top spot in the collaboration industry. While Slack promises convenient and easy-to-use instant messaging technology for the masses, Microsoft Teams provides collaboration technology infused with the Microsoft productivity suite. While the competition between Slack and Microsoft hasn’t always been friendly, things have taken a serious turn this July.
Slack announced on the 22nd of July that it was launching an official complaint with the European Commission. The complaint states that Microsoft is using it’s unfair presence in the marketplace to gain too much power in the collaboration industry.
