Slack and AWS Take on Microsoft Teams
A multi-year partnership between Slack and Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be delivering brand-new solutions for collaboration and enhanced workplace performance to the market going forward. According to a recent statement from Slack and AWS, the due is searching for new ways to help distributed teams communicate and work more efficiently together.
Slack will be enabling voice and video calling in Amazon Chime, the communication service that allows users to chat, meet, and make calls in business. What’s more, Slack and AWS are on the way to creating even deeper product integrations. This ensures that teams will soon be able to manage their AWS resources from Slack channels. What’s Next for Zoom’s Plan?
Now that Zoom’s 90-day plan to beef up security and privacy measures is almost halfway over; Founder and CEO Eric Yuan, has shed some light on what might be next on the horizon. Once Zoom reaches its 90-day deadline, it will be continuing to expand on its product portfolio, with new functionalities and capabilities. For instance, Yuan has said that admins will be able to manage virtual backgrounds in the future.
Hosts will also soon have the option to delete in-meeting questions, comments, and answers, as well as unmuting all participants at once.
