Bing Chat Enterprise was unveiled at Microsoft Inspire 2023, introducing Microsoft's AI-powered chat tool to the business sector. Initially available in Microsoft Edge for consumers, Bing Chat now focuses on providing secure communication solutions for enterprises.
Yusuf Mehdi and Jared Spataro, in a joint blog post at the time of Inspire, highlighted the emphasis on data protection: "Bing Chat Enterprise offers AI-driven work chat with robust data security.
"Both user and business data are safeguarded, preventing any external leaks."
Security Focus
Microsoft continues to promote Bing Chat Enterprise from a security perspective and stressed in a blog announcing the new availability that no data will leak outside the organization.
Even Microsoft itself does not have access to the data, meaning it will not be used to train AI models.

IT administrators can turn on Bing Chat Enterprise for users with the licences listed above. In addition, Microsoft said the tool will be turned on by default "no earlier than September 21st".
