Boom has launched a new video kit designed to enhance AV quality for huddle rooms and smaller locations.
"In recent years, there's been an explosion in huddle room deployments, and our new kit is ideally suited to these types of smaller, more versatile locations,"
Boom Co-Founder Holli Hulett said.
Billed as a 'meeting room in a box', the conferencing manufacturer has focused on video, audio and connectivity for an all-in-one solution.
Meeting Room In A Box
The Bring Your Own Meeting kit offers three devices: a camera, speakerphone, and one cable connection hub.
With hot desking and hybrid work becoming increasingly common for many businesses, the ability to enable high-quality meetings in ever-changing environments is becoming critical, especially as AI is increasingly used.
Not only does this mean the availability of main meeting rooms booked, the ever-changing audio and video dimension requirements, but different devices will now need to be used to host the meetings.
"The use of individual devices is now firmly taking over with plug-and-play simplicity, lower costs and a platform agnostic approach some of the main driving forces,"
Boom Co-Founder, Fredrik Hörnkvist, said.
"This is especially popular for SMBs embracing hybrid work. They greatly outnumber bigger organisations by around 1000:1, so there's more volume and more reseller opportunities compared to fully-fledged room systems."
As a result, Boom's BYOM Small Room Kit uses a ZYGO plug-and-play for its connection hub.
