BroadSoft has had its share of media attention recently, thanks to the annual BroadSoft Connections conference, and the incredible announcement that Cisco will be purchasing the UCaaS and cloud business services company for $1.9 billion. Recently, BroadSoft also announced that they would be working hand-in-hand with the largest mobile operator in Thailand, AIS, to help them deliver Unified Communication solutions to their enterprise customers.
With the delivery of the "AIS Business Cloud", BroadSoft will be giving AIS the features and services that they need to deliver secure and reliable UC to their customers. The PBX and UC service is based upon the pre-existing BroadSoft Business UC-One application, which is intended to offer better team collaboration for companies and enterprise environments around the world.
Introducing AIS Business Cloud
As Thailand's largest mobile operating company, with over 40 million national subscribers, AIS is a powerful force for BroadSoft to collaborate with. The company has also established a growing presence in the market of data communications, corporate voice, and Broadband connectivity for Thai customers. Currently, AIS are driving the adoption of cloud-based services among corporate clients, with the hope of giving them more access to cost-effective and flexible technology solutions.
With the creation of the AIS Business Cloud service, built upon the BroadSoft UC-One application, AIS will be able to give the Thai businesses in their consumer network all the cutting-edge cloud solutions that they need to thrive in this age of digital transformation (DX). Entering the Unified Communications Market
The development of the AIS Business Cloud marks the company's official entry into the market for unified communications. According to the Senior Vice President for Marketing and Sales behind the company, Weerachai Patcharopartwong, AIS believed that it was important to work with a market leader like BroadSoft on the creation of their UC service, to help ensure that they could properly serve their corporate clients.
