Cloud UC pioneer BroadSoft has entered the team collaboration market with the launch of its latest product.
Team One is an integrated communications, sharing and productivity app aimed at streamlining common enterprise software functions. From a single workspace, it allows users to launch a full range of messaging functions and UC applications.
The product has been launched to fill what BroadSoft see as a gap in the market between standalone enterprise messaging apps and cloud-based UC platforms.
Scott Hoffpauir, BroadSoft’s chief technology officer, said: “Rather than making workforces more productive, standalone messaging apps are exacerbating information overload due to their lack of integration with other core communications and collaboration services.

All in one place
Team One integrates standard messaging functions such as email, IM and document sharing have been with the the mobile first cloud comms features of the company’s UC One application. These include click to call and live meetings, delivering HD instant video conferencing, screen sharing and group voice/video.
