Webex Go with CallTower Will Enable Seamless Enterprise Calling on Mobile Devices

CallTower has launched Webex Go with CallTower to bring enterprise-grade calling capabilities to employees’ mobile devices.

"CallTower and Webex enable businesses to provide employees with a more flexible and secure mobile experience. Webex Go with CallTower removes the friction of traditional mobile calling solutions, allowing users to seamlessly transition between devices while staying connected to their enterprise phone system,”

Doug Larsen, Senior Vice President of Product and Software Development at CallTower, said.

The integration is aimed at giving customers the ability to enable seamless and secure business communications from anywhere.

What Webex Go Brings CallTower

Webex Go is a mobile-centric solution that integrates Webex Calling with users' native mobile phone dialer, enabling seamless business calling without requiring the Webex App.

It allows mobile and hybrid workers to make and receive business calls using their existing Webex business number directly from their mobile phone's native dialer, ensuring enterprise-grade call quality and security by routing calls over cellular voice networks instead of data or Wi-Fi.

Webex Go supports two deployment options: BYOD and Mobile Operator.

In the case of CallTower, it is now allowing customers to take advantage of Webex Go's calling capabilities in a BYOD capacity.

By utilizing eSIM technology, the solution allows business calls to be routed through an enterprise system, preserving professional identity while offering high-quality, secure voice connectivity.

“Webex Go with CallTower will bring even more value to our joint customers,”

Amey Parandekar, Vice President, Product Management at Cisco, said.

“Businesses can now deliver seamless enterprise mobility and benefit from the agility of cloud-based PSTN for a complete, enterprise-grade calling solution that meets the evolving needs of today’s hybrid workforce.”

CallTower began its relationship with Webex in 2024, when they announced at Webex One it had become a Cisco Certified Mobile Calling Provider.

Such certification shows CallTower’s capability to elevate Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) numbers to an eSIM, provisioning them within Webex Control Hub.

CallTower's Integration Ecosphere

CallTower has started 2025 with an ambitious push to increase its capabilities and improve its offering for its clients.

In January of this year, CallTower acquired Inoria to increase its aims of expanding market presence and strengthening communications technology capabilities.

This acquisition aims to expand its CX and Conversational AI capabilities to the global market.
