During their latest partner event, Sales Director at MyPhones, Paul Gibbs, announced the impending launch of their Microsoft Teams integration.

“Teams is something we can’t ignore; our partners have been asking us since the summer to do this. We have spent a lot of time ensuring we get it right and making the proposition both technically seamless but also commercially attractive. We are going to be ready to roll this out in Q4.”

“We have designed this for partners to go out and disrupt the market, it will enable them to build some really attractive bundles for their customers”

“With our license you get your chosen number with your Altos license against it. That will enable you to make and receive calls in Teams while at home, on the road, through the applications. We are working on things like call parks which are still widely used. If you want to park a call so someone can else can pick it up on Teams, you can deliver that with us.

“We have not gone for the de facto integration licenses that you might see out there, we have actually built our own SBCs in the cloud.”

“A big plus point is the scalability. If you have got global deployments now you can play in that arena. We also have localised voice breakout in a myriad of different countries.”

MyPhones is supporting partners and their Teams journey by offering a bespoke training academy. Partners are able to gain access to training which will help them in key areas of the sale and implementation of the integrated Teams product.

Gibbs commented “We are offering easy access for partners and their team members to choose both a bespoke and/or ad hoc training sessions in and around some of our products which includes the sales, provisioning, and installation specifically on Teams. This training will be key to ensure partners are getting everything out of their deals and customers are adopting technology appropriately. We will even help partners train their customers with some white-labelled training videos.”
