Colt Technology recently announced the expansion of their "On Demand" portfolio, with the launch of a brand new "Voice on Demand" portal. The latest service will allow enterprises to respond dynamically to changing requirements for businesses in real time, benefiting from the opportunity to expand into new markets easily through a single, centralised portal that can manage numbers from all European countries.
The completely digital process delivered by Colt could mean the end of frustratingly long lead times, removing the need for human interaction to modify, create, and cease orders. Additionally, the "On Demand" portal will support real-time ordering, which will allow companies to organise new campaigns whenever their business demands it, without any advanced planning. This could even mean that providers who resell voice services can achieve greater agility by smoothly managing thousands of service access numbers for their customers.
As a further benefit, regulatory information has been made accessible from the portal, allowing customers to ensure that they remain compliant with their local regulations.
Building on Colt's Existing Portfolio
The new portal helps to extend Colt's overall On-demand portfolio, as a fraction of the "Colt IQ Network", which comes with features like convergent SIP trunking, flexible access bandwidth, contact centre solutions, and Unified Communications as a Service. All of the services are on a pay-per-use model, which makes them great for growing businesses.
According to CTO for Colt, Rajiv Datta, customer service is increasingly seen as a key differentiator for business performance, putting companies of every sector and size under pressure. Colt's on-demand portfolio is fully-automated and can be accessed through a service portal, which allows customers to scale their network as required, reducing time to market by ordering service access numbers within a couple of clicks. Additionally, the process limits administration overheads by banishing paperwork.
According to Colt, enterprises should be more demanding when it comes to creating the perfect network, and with the "on-demand" portfolio, Colt have everything they need to change the status quo.
