Core appoints new COO

Microsoft Gold Partner, Core Technology Systems Limited, recently announced a change to its executive team. The managed services company, which specialises in delivering Microsoft 365 solutions to business users, recently announced the appointment of its new Chief Operating Officer, Brian Packer (pictured above). Brian is brimming a wealth of experience to the Core team. He enters his new position with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Additionally, Packer has more than 18 years of experience in leadership roles.

With a powerful reputation as an executive with incredible potential in commercially-focused and results-oriented roles, Brian has worked for companies like Ocean Group, BIS, and 6 Degrees over the years. Core Technology Systems is excited to be adding Brian to its team.

Introducing Brian Packer

Brian Packer has a significant level of experience in the technology and leadership environments. However, he also has a solid background in the board and senior management positions too. Packer has played a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of businesses through the provision of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure and software environments. Brian has managed various complicated programs of work, including multiple mobile application developments, system integrations, and infrastructure operations.

With an impressive background in the delivery of programs capable of assisting businesses in overcoming complex challenges, Brian will be joining the Senior Management Team at Core. Within the business, he will help to develop future growth strategies and transformation projects. Additionally, Brian’s disciplined and professional approach will help to drive initiatives for change management throughout the company.

Updating the Leadership Team

The CEO of Core, Conor Callanan, commented on the decision to add Brian to the leadership team. Conor also stated that Brian’s considerable experience shines through in his work. Packer has all the attributes required to deliver true transformational change to the Core team at a very exciting time in the company’s growth.

Brian also commented on his new role, stating that he is thrilled to be joining the powerful Core leadership team as the business continues to evolve. The Core group has an excellent reputation, according to Brian, as well as strong customer and supplier relationships, which give it a fantastic position for growth. Packer is looking forward to helping the team develop a managed service offering that’s both powerful and unique.
