CounterPath Bria Teams SMB collaboration

CounterPath, a company known for their award-winning Unified Communications solutions, recently announced the release of their new collaboration and team communications service "Bria Teams." The Bria Teams application is intended to help SMBs enhance team productivity across mobile and desktop, with an easy-to-use cloud-based platform.

As both a secure, and highly scalable solution, Bria Teams provides small to mid-sized businesses with a reliable system for presence, team messaging, high-definition voice, video, and more. CounterPath believes that their new creation will help to empower teams of all sizes as they search for more diverse ways to connect within a digital environment. The team collaboration app will be available on a subscription basis and is targeted towards CounterPath's existing Bria and X-Lite user base, as well as new users in the SMB space.

Key Features of Bria Teams

Bria Teams is a cloud-based collaboration and communication service intended to help teams connect through an easy-to-use interface. Features include:

  • Screen sharing
  • Searchable message history
  • 1:1 and group calling and conferencing
  • HD Voice and Video
  • Integrated file transfer
  • Team messaging and presence

According to a Senior Analyst for MZA, Tim Gelardi, the Team Collaboration solution marketplace is growing rapidly, with more acceleration predicted in the years ahead. A key driver of that growth is the need to consolidate communication tools within a business environment and create a single point of communication.

Bria Teams packages the communication tools that modern SMBs require into a single and convenient interface, supporting a modern team of dispersed and diverse workers. According to the Membership Systems Manager at Musician's Union, Dez Straub, the intuitive design of the application makes it easier to connect with colleagues fast, without having to keep track of multiple applications and conversations.

Designed to Simplify SMB Communications

CounterPath was excited to announce the availability of Bria Teams in a recent press release, where the EVP of Sales and Marketing, Todd Carothers described the application as a "solution to help improve processes and increase productivity." The Bria Teams application will give SMBs a way to enhance their communication environment and embrace digital transformation.

Additionally, Bria Teams comes packaged with features that allow it to meet with the high-level security requirements of today's teams, such as in-built media and audio encryption for calling, messaging, file transferring and screen sharing. Thanks to its flexible cloud-based model, Bria Teams allows users to take their communication strategy with them on the go, and stay connected with their peers through any device, platform, and network. The result is a streamlined team, with easier team management offered through an intuitive, web-based interface.

CounterPath Bria TeamsCounterPath will be offering Bria Teams on a flexible subscription plan that allows companies to scale according to the needs of their business. There's also a free thirty-day trial available.
