Crestron has expanded its control apps by launching Crestron Control for Zoom Rooms, streamlining the user experience.
The Crestron Control App for Zoom Rooms enhances existing Zoom Rooms video conferencing systems by integrating Crestron Control to expand their capabilities seamlessly. This software control application allows users to manage lighting, shades, AV solutions, peripherals, and the Zoom Rooms software platform through a single user interface.
Toine C. Leerentveld, Director of Product Management, Cloud and Control Services at Crestron, wrote in an announcement blog:
The result is an intuitive experience that controls every function of a meeting space along with the Zoom Rooms conferencing platform with the touch of a single button. The interface is designed so that even the most 'techno-phobic' user can learn how to operate the solution in mere moments. And on top of all that, the interface simply looks great."
Crestron Control seamlessly integrates with new and existing Zoom Rooms software-enabled spaces, regardless of the brand. Users can create user interfaces using Crestron HTML 5 (CH5), Crestron Construct software, and the upcoming AV Framework platform. Once a universal interface is designed, it can be easily deployed across multiple spaces, enabling organisations to scale up their Zoom Rooms software effortlessly from a few rooms to every connected space.
It also integrates with any Crestron Flex for Zoom Rooms software system and Zoom Rooms systems from other vendors. It integrates with the entire Crestron ecosystem, including touch screens, content distribution solutions with DigitalMedia technology, conferencing and presentation systems with Crestron Flex and AirMedia wireless presentation and conferencing systems, lighting, audio amps and processors, and speakers.
Adding other applications in the future is seamless, regardless of hardware or software control preferences. The functionality, control level, and user experience remain consistent because of Crestron's security standard, which ensures enterprise-grade security communications between your Zoom Rooms appliance and the Crestron Control processor during authentication.
