Initially Andrew Border, Vice President for the Communications Business Group at Dolby, considers the traditional arrangement for collaboration and meeting technology within the market. We consider how effective that is, with often a less than stellar audio experience.
We then explore some of the science behind sound processing, including psychoacoustics, and how by utilising that knowledge Dolby can ensure more effective experiences.
Finally Andrew considers how Dolby fit within an already crowded marketplace. Their expertise within sound and video gives them a real advantage in certain areas but collaborating with the right partners is critical for the success of their products and technology.
