Elitetele.com in Megabuyte's Top 10 Telecoms & Networks Peer Group Report

Elitetele.com Megabuyte top 10 report

Elitetele.com , the UK’s leading provider of unified communications, has today been ranked in Megabuyte’s top ten Telecoms and Networks Peer Group Report after reporting year to July 2016 earnings (EBITA) up 10% at £5.6m, on revenues up 2% at £33.1m. Elitetele.com’s latest results lift its Megabuyte Scorecard rating seven points to 69, well ahead of the Telecoms & Networks and Megabuyte universe averages of 58, and putting Elite into the peer group top ten.

Founder and CEO, Matt Newing, says, “We’re delighted with the growth that the company continues to make and pleased our strong performance over the past year has been recognised by Megabuyte.

Our recent NetCentrix acquisition has been a success, bringing hosted desktop and server virtualisation skills to the company which we are already cross selling successfully to our respective customers.”

“We’ve acquired 13 businesses since 2008 and as a result now offer our customers a seamless managed service for IT and unified communications unparalleled in the industry. But we want to do more. We have a further £20m to invest in firms whose niche technologies will further benefit our customers. In particular, we’re interested in talking to firms in the IT, PBX and connectivity arenas,” says Newing.

Elitetele.com’s estimated 3% increase in organic growth reflects a turn round from the estimated 5% decline of 2015, and was largely due to a big uplift in the provision of managed services, and a stabilisation in non-geographic numbers, where revenues have been hit by the shift from 08xx to 03xx numbering. Management noted that inbound NGN for contact centre customers has fallen from about 25% of revenues at December 2015 to 20% currently and could go to 10-15%. In contrast, connectivity (especially SIP) and hosted and on-premise voice continue to do well.
