Imagicle Brings Digital Fax to Webex

Imagicle digital fax for Webex

Imagicle has announced that its Digital Fax service is now available inside the Webex Control Hub.

According to the company, this makes it the only digital fax solution managed by the Webex Control Hub and allows easy configuration.

The solution is fully integrated with Webex Calling to deliver a complete, cloud-based, inbound and outbound fax for multi-tenant and dedicated.

Kai Xu, Director of Business Development and Strategic Alliances at Imagicle, said: "Today, I'm proud to announce the official availability of Imagicle Digital Fax inside the Webex Control Hub, making it the only approved digital fax solution managed by Webex Control Hub, allowing a quick and easy configuration.

"Many think fax is dead, but it’s quite the opposite since it’s still the most used means for official communications.

"Digital Fax allows you to send and receive faxes as quickly as emails on all your devices: PC, digital printer, smartphone, tablet, and, of course, Cisco apps like Webex and Jabber.

"This gives you the opportunity to fax easily wherever you are, improving interoperability and enabling smart and hybrid work with an easy-to-use interface."

Imagicle says users can send and receive faxes regardless of their PSTN, including Cisco calling plans.

Users will also have access to complete and easy fax management directly from the Webex app, meaning there will be no reason to switch between workstreams.

Choosing Digital Fax

Imagicle states that its Digital Fax solution is 100 percent software-based to ensure that it is reliable, secure and easy to use.

As a result, the program can be used to send highly sensitive documents across any device to maximise productivity, improve information service, eliminate costs, make organisations greener, and get rid of fax machines.

Due to faxes being able to concern anything, including sensitive data in all sectors, they fall under the directives of HIPAA and GDPR.

Imagicle has taken this into account and has added the following to the software:

  • Role-based access: Data access is protected depending on its use of it. Access to the web interface is only allowed for users with authentication credentials, so their role depends on what information they can access.
  • Flexible data retention: Digital Fax allows users to set the retention period of faxes to ensure that the data is kept for as long as necessary.
  • Data processing rights: The data subject can sometimes ask the controller to confirm if they have processed the data and possibly request a change. The software allows users to guarantee these rights via the web interface, where all incoming or outgoing faxes can be searched.
  • Proper encryption: Digital Fax automatically stores all incoming and outgoing fax documents in the Imagicle UCX Suite Virtual machine's hard drive. This applies BitLocker-based data encryption, which fulfils HIPAA regulations and ensures that all archived messages are secure.
  • Audit all faxes: Administrators can download the complete audio trail of the activities performed from the list of incoming and outgoing faxes. As a result, it will be possible to know if any fax information has been deleted or exported and who was responsible for those actions.

Imagicle Digital Fax is available now for Webex users to deploy.
