Intrado appoints new CEO

Intrado has appointed Matt Carter as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Replacing the current CEO, Jeff Robertson, Carter has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the enterprise networking, cloud, and digital technology sectors. Prior to Intrado, he was CEO of Aryaka Networks, a Silicon Valley venture-backed SAAS network and security platform business which served global enterprises in accelerating their digital transformation.

Carter commented:

I am honoured to join Intrado as CEO and look forward to working closely with the company’s Board, leadership team, and talented employees. Together, we will continue to execute on Intrado’s critical provision of robust, resilient, intuitive, and insightful solutions to emergency responders that allow them to quickly and effectively provide assistance when it is needed most."

Before his role at Aryaka, Mr. Carter was President and CEO of Inteliquent, Inc., where he oversaw the business's turnaround strategy. This positioned Inteliquent as a significant player in emerging industries. Prior to joining Inteliquent, Carter was President of Sprint's global enterprise business, where he managed the organisation's billion-dollar B2B business unit.

"Following a thorough search process, we are excited to welcome Matt as CEO of Intrado," said James Wyper, Intrado Board member and Senior Managing Director at Intrado's owner in Stonepeak. "Matt is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the industry, and we are confident that he has the right skill set to guide Intrado into its next chapter of growth."

The outgoing Robertson will join Intrado's Board of Directors.

"On behalf of the entire Board, we would like to thank Jeff for his contributions as CEO of Intrado, especially for his pivotal role in establishing the company's foundation as a standalone entity following the carveout from West," Wyper added. "We look forward to continuing to benefit from his institutional knowledge and expertise as he joins the Board."

It's been a prominent week for CEO appointments, with NEAT appointing a former Zoom executive as its new CEO.

Neat brought in former Zoom Chief Marketing Officer Janine Pelosi, who brings nearly two decades of technology industry experience. She left Zoom in May, where she helped enable the business's growth journey from start-up to the household name it is in 2023.

"I’m excited to bring these capabilities to a broader customer base, work closely with Microsoft, Zoom, and our expanding ecosystem of partnering apps and services, and join forces with a team of brilliant, entrepreneurial individuals," Pelosi said.
