Global leader in the world of digital communications, Avaya recently announced the launch of a new program designed to accelerate the sale of the Avaya Cloud portfolio to small and mid-sized businesses. The Cloud Master Agent program asks sales agents to send potential clients to Avaya, where their specialist sales team can handle the remainder of the transaction, all the way from provisioning, to billing a customised UC service for the organisation.
Value-added distribution partner "Jenne" recently became the first Cloud Master Agent in Avaya's new program. According to the GM and SVP of Cloud for Avaya, Mercer Rowe, the Master Agent program makes it easier for agents to sell the Avaya cloud solution and therefore improve their market share. Jenne has already begun to see interest in their new program and has begun to expand its reach in the UC industry as a result.
Supporting the Agent Ecosystem with Avaya
According to the Digital Transformation (DX) expert at Frost & Sullivan, Rob Arnold, agents are one of the most important components of the UCaaS support and sales ecosystem. Yet, despite this, an agent can only effectively accomplish so much. As an expert in creating custom and intelligent solutions for the UC and contact centre environment, Avaya was well positioned to design a program that supports simpler transactions for agents.
The Cloud Master Agent service should address the ever-increasing demand that Avaya has begun to see for its cloud services, while simplifying the deployment, onboarding, and management of customer communications. With the Master Agent program, agents will be able to give their customers industry-leading access to Avaya technologies with bundled carrier services, unified communications hosted by Avaya, and monthly subscription-based billing.
