On June 6th, 2017, the industry leader Polycom introduced a brand new item to their portfolio. Polycom Pano is a quick and easy way to share content at work, allowing anyone in business meetings to share as many as four content streams, without having to worry about dongles, or cables.
Pano was developed because Polycom believed their customers shouldn't have to waste time and effort looking for simple ways to share information. In a world where teams are constantly struggling to share spreadsheets and presentations quickly during a meeting format, Pano will allow for easier access to data. Customers simply need to connect Pano to any of their displays to instantly allow wireless content sharing from Macs, PCs, smartphones, and tablets. They can even use live video.
Pano also includes a range of safeguards and security solutions that restrict sharing to the target monitor, and ensure that content is protected throughout the meeting.
Responding to Customer Needs
According to a press release announcement by the Chief Executive Office of Polycom, Mary McDowell, customers in the past have complained about the fact that they struggle to share information in a meeting setting. Time is often wasted as co-workers' search for the right cord or adapter for each device in use.
As the world of collaboration continues to evolve, Polycom believes that the connections we make at work are more productive when we can build and annotate ideas simultaneously in real time. Pano will make content sharing easier for almost any business environment.
