IR Experience Monitoring Chosen by BT

IR Experience Monitoring selected by BT

Leading global provider of experience management solutions for critical IT solutions, communications, and payment ecosystems, IR has achieved a new milestone. The company announced at the end of May that it has been selected to manage, monitor, and present high-quality experiences for BT unified communication and collaboration services.

The IR solution marks the only contract signed to date by BT for the BT Meetings platform, for an application and experience monitoring solution. BT chose to work with IR after a request for proposal was launched in 2020. According to Managing Director of the Global Portfolio for BT, Andrew Small, selecting the right partners is crucial for success. The team chose IR because the companies share the same goal of delivering outstanding experiences.

The new digital service platform provides BT customers with choice and flexibility while ensuring the highest quality user experience and services. IR Collaborate is perfect for meeting the needs of BT today, and it can scale to changes in the future.

Bringing IR Collaborate into the BT Portfolio

BT will be using the IR Collaborate portfolio, supported by the hybrid cloud Prognosis platform to provide state-of-the-art managed services in multi-vendor UC&C environments. Other benefits include:

  • Gaining real-time insight into the voice and video quality of meetings and calls to understand user experience
  • Tracking adoption and usage rates against KPIs to help customers maximise ROI
  • Proactively alert users on quality degradation and service impacting issues
  • Isolate and troubleshoot issues quickly, allowing for better operational efficiency
