Jabra’s latest addition to its Evolve2 range was designed to meet the updated needs of hybrid workers, according to Luca Barbarossa, the vendor’s Regional Product Marketing Manager EMEA South.
The Evolve2 75 has been designed to accommodate enterprise users who split their week working from the office and home, as well as the time spent between those locations.
The headset is designed with a focus on comfort, concentration, collaboration, and insights. It is the premium successor to the Evolve 75, with several features to enable better collaboration for users.
“Everything is adjustable, everything is customisable, and everything is really made for you depending on where you are – we really wanted to give people something extremely comfortable,” Barbarossa told UC Today.
“The basic assumption was to find something extremely comfortable and from there we started to look at suitable technologies and solutions which not only allow me to keep the headphones on my head long time but allows me to talk on the headphone in a lot of different situations: talking in the street, at the office, relaxing and listening to music.
“It’s about this modern way of working, and considering that people want to work flexibly – so let's give them the best product to be able to do that”
Among the new features that the Evolve2 75 offers is fully adjustable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which allows users to select how much of their surrounding environment they want to hear. A “HearThrough” button allows users to tune back into the surrounding sounds without having to remove their headset.
The microphone boom arm is also 33 percent shorter than that on the Evolve 75 headset, providing users greater flexibility and better audio. The flipped down arm offers Performance mode, reducing the sound in an open office setting, while folding the arm away still provides quality calls on the go.
