Kinly Logitech global partner designation

Kinly is celebrating being one of the first organisations to receive Logitech's prestigious Global Partner designation.

A new designation in Logitech’s Partner Connect Programme, the accolade acknowledges and supports partners who are distinguished by their exceptional design and implementation capabilities and ability to extend their influence across various geographic regions.

Jean-Paul Lemmens, VP of Procurement, Product and Strategic Partner Management at Kinly, commented:

We are immensely proud of all of our achievements together with our partner Logitech. To be recognised for our global partner status alongside these regional accolades is testament to our success in delivering projects worldwide."

Kinly says the achievement reflects a successful period for the business, which also won the European VC Specialist Partner of the Year Award at Logitech’s 2024 European Partner Connect Awards in London in June and VC Specialist of the Year in the Nordics.

“Kinly's partnership with Logitech brings together two industry leaders in video collaboration and personal workspace solutions, allowing us to deliver meaningful experiences for our customers across the globe," added Eamon O’Doherty, Head of B2B Channels Europe at Logitech.

"Their expertise as a full-service AV and UC integrator has led to Kinly being awarded Logitech’s prestigious European VC Specialist Partner of the Year award. By focusing on simplicity and innovation, we are committed to providing seamless video communication solutions for every workspace, no matter where it may be.”

Kinly ‘Reaches New Heights’ With Global Service Director Appointment

Last month, Kinly appointed Duncan MacPherson as its new Global Service Director.

MacPherson joined the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services as a Support Manager in 2009. Over the past 15 years, Kinly has highlighted MacPherson’s consistent contributions to the team, leading to his promotion to Global Service Director.

With two decades of industry experience, MacPherson’s expertise in service management and operations positions him well to lead the strategic direction and execution of Kinly’s service portfolio. In his new role, he will oversee the service delivery management of these offerings, ensuring global consistency in delivery.

What Logitech News Has Happened Recently?

In May, Logitech launched MeetUp 2, the next generation of the AI-powered video bar tailored for huddle rooms.

The MeetUp 2 is an AI-powered USB conference camera specifically designed for BYOD and PC-based setups in huddle and small meeting rooms. According to Logitech, this device is a modern evolution of the renowned Logitech MeetUp, which has sold over one million units and stands as the company’s top-selling conference camera.

That same week, Logitech added advanced room booking and remote access tools to Logitech Sync to streamline workplace management.

Logitech Sync has been upgraded to include usage insights and automations, streamlining space and device management. According to Logitech, these enhancements reduce the burden on overwhelmed IT teams by ensuring meeting spaces are consistently available and operational. Additionally, they enable IT professionals to manage these spaces remotely and securely.

Meanwhile, in June, Vyopta joined Logitech‘s Collaboration Program to offer valuable insights into meeting rooms and collaboration spaces.

Vyopta and Logitech are collaborating to provide essential visibility into space utilisation through the CollabOS API. This initiative aims to empower leaders with critical data, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions to optimise real estate investments and ensure workplace infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the modern workforce.
