Cregagh Presbyterian Church partnered with Rea Sound AV, an audio, lighting and visual equipment specialist, which in turn chose a number of Kramer’s solutions to integrate into the church’s existing infrastructure and improve its audio-visual (AV) technology.
Specifically, the Kramer SL-240C room controller was chosen as the central control unit to manage its video displays, scalers, amplifiers, Blu-ray players, lights, sensors, shades, screens, and door locks.
The device runs on Kramer Control, a cloud-based, end-to-end enterprise AV control system that enables full visibility and control for all devices across every room.
Roger McMullan, Director of Rea Sound AV, passed on some of the praise Kramer Control has received: “Kramer Control met the requirements of the client, with ease of use and reliability from day one. Most importantly, it provides confidence with every Sunday or mid-week service, knowing everything will work.
“The audio-visual environment was further enhanced by installing a cutting-edge projector, carefully selecting displays to match the church's aesthetics, reconfiguring client displays, and upgrading streaming services.
McMullan continued: “We’ve received very positive feedback from Cregagh Presbyterian Church. They love the system. They even have visits from other churches interested in seeing what they succeeded in doing.
Today, the church is a beacon of modernity and technological advancement, offering an enriched worship experience to its congregation."
Kramer AVoIP
Kramer Control provides church committee members with an intuitive interface with which to operate their AV technology, with no prior technical training required.
Moreover, the system can be controlled using an Apple iPad, which further helps ease user experiences.
