If you're looking for cloud unified communications and collaboration (UCC), then it doesn't get much more cutting-edge than the solutions offered by BroadSoft's "UC-One" service. The system is designed to be the market-leading technology for UCaaS, helping businesses to stay collaborative, productive, and connected, no matter the circumstances.
The UC-One "Communicator" app is a system that allows business professionals to stay connected on any device, transferring files, meeting with colleagues, and engaging in conversations in a cross-functional and global workplace. Now, BroadSoft is delivering a whole new range of features to the Communicator setup, for tablet, mobile, and desktop clients alike. The updates will be available to all end-users with the correct service setup.
What to Expect from the UC-One Communicator Update
The new features came out officially on the 1st of September, with some aspects only available to end-users who have the executive assistant services and call centre agent attached to their package. If you have the right package in place, you can look forward to features like these:
- New Visual Voicemail
An update for the Communicator desktop app, the visual voicemail solution allows you to see a third tab on your communication history screen where you can check out a list of all your voicemails. All you need to do is click on one of your mails to listen to it, and any missed calls will show up with their own dedicated icon.
You can enable visual voicemail by going into the end-user settings on the "MyPhone" system, and clicking through "My Messages" into the Settings category. You can either choose "On" or "Always" options for your visual mailbox.
