Global business communications company, Lifesize, have just announced a merger with Serenova, a leading CCaaS (contact centre as a service) provider. The combined companies will create a contact centre communications and work management solution that serves over 10,000 global customers.
While Lifesize is committed to helping businesses improve their collaboration, elevate productivity, and increase customer engagement, Serenova is a leader in cloud-based multichannel contact centre software. The two brands make for an excellent partnership, with Marlin Equity Partners sponsoring the collaboration. The equity firm has said that it will continue to invest in the growth of the combined business in an attempt to address the needs of the UCaaS market.

The merger allows the combined company to appeal to the requirements of organisations that want to eliminate the silos of CCaaS and UCaaS technology in the contact centre. Serenova and Lifesize together will create a cloud-based high-definition solution for enterprise-grade video and contact centre solutions.
Lifesize and Serenova make an excellent team. Not only are they both heavily focused on improving the employee and customer experience, but they’re both recognised by Gartner too. Serenova and Lifesize have appeared in the Magic Quadrants for their respective industries recently.
The new entity created by both brands will allow customers to consolidate a patchwork of contact centre, communications, and video collaboration solutions. The result will be a brand new breed of omni-channel and unified experiences for customer engagement and workplace collaboration. What’s more, the joined company will give customers the global scale they need to evolve through a partner ecosystem that spans over 100 countries.
Creating a New Breed of UCaaS and CCaaS
The CEO and Founder of Lifesize, Craig Malloy, will be serving as the CEO for the new company, while John Lynch, CEO of Serenova will be acting as Senior VP of Sales.
