Microsoft has announced Yealink’s T46G SFB and T48G SFB ‘phones have become the first in the company’s T4x series to be certified for use on its Skype for Business Online Service platform.
Offered as part of the software giant’s Office 365 productivity suite, the new platform offers cloud PBX and PSTN conferencing functionality accessed via add-on licences.
The move will further strengthen Yealink’s market appeal with the company’s range already having been acclaimed for uniquely emulating the Skype for Business laptop user experience. This enhances ease of use as the handsets employ icons and operational steps with which users of the platform will already be familiar.
This has helped boost the popularity of the five models in Yealink’s T4x SFB series, all of which are accredited for use with the standard Skype for Business platform. All models also incorporate Better Together over Ethernet (BToE) for seamless switching between Skype and a desktop client.
Yealink’s Skype for Business specialist, Brett Kershaw commented:
“Gaining accreditation for Skype for Business Online Service can only strengthen the case for adoption of Yealink handsets,”
“Access to PSTN conferencing creates an effective and affordable dial-in conference service whilst the cloud PBX enables simple integration with PC, Mac and mobile devices.
