The Mida Solutions Compliance Recorder for Microsoft Teams has been officially added to Microsoft’s Compliance Recording for Teams Certification Program which confirms the product’s reliability in terms of quality, compatibility and security. The cloud recording solution helps users record, safely archive and rapidly retrieve all their business conversations so compliance can be maintained across various regulatory environments.
Based on Microsoft Graph APIs, the Mida Compliance Recorder enables enterprises to capture all conversations, either those originating in Teams or an external PBX number, that traverse its Teams client. The product’s flexible structure allows organisations to have a choice of where to host the application with options that include on-premises, hybrid and public or private cloud deployment models. Public cloud possibilities include Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
“Joining the Microsoft certification programme is for us an added value that confirms the interoperability of our recording system with Teams,” explains Michele Bernardinello, Business Development at Mida Solutions.
“The certification adds regulatory and formal security to the technical reliability aspects of our professional compliance solution. It allows secure storage and quick retrieval of all business conversations in a single intuitive platform."
Configuration variables allow enterprises to define recording policies, which can be assigned according to users to enable selective or total-recording for conversations. In addition, users can be assigned different privileges, allowing supervisors to decide information access criteria. Typically, standard users normally will access only their records, while team leaders will be able to access their teams’ recorded conversations as well.
Microsoft Teams adoption has been challenged in some markets because there are often specific requirements regarding business recordings that particular industries have to comply with. These requirements differ from country-to-country and industries such as financial services commonly face a compliance burden when it comes to recording. Often, the recording, storage and surveillance of voice is subject to tight regulation so the capabilities of the Mida Compliance Recorder can help enterprises demonstrate compliance.
