Back in 2020, video consultation technology became a must-have feature for all kinds of organisations. At the start of the lockdowns in March, Modality announced that care providers and NHS trusts could access OneConsultation for free, with no obligation for one month. What’s more, the service was made available within 72 hours.
Now, Modality is bringing the same OneConsultation functionality to the public sector once again, ensuring that teams can access the technology they need throughout the pandemic.

The OneConsultation solution from Modality has caught the attention of public sector workers for a variety of reasons. Use cases extend all the way from providing support to children and young people in care, to dealing with police interviews, family therapy, audiology, and district nursing. Aside from hosting 346,896 group sessions and consultations throughout the year of 2020, Modality was also responsible for powering over 735 years of video. The system also sent an incredible 15,826 SMS messages to patients and clients about upcoming consultations and group meetings.
