monday.com has opened a new London office, accelerating its ongoing expansion in the UK and EMEA.
The project and work management business has signed a new 80,000-square-foot office lease in London's Fitzrovia. This new office follows Pierre Berlin's appointment as monday.com's inaugural General Manager for EMEA. Berlin's leadership is expected to drive significant regional expansion from the London office.
"Securing this new space is a key step in our expansion strategy," said Berlin. "London is a global tech hub with unparalleled access to talent and innovation."
By nearly doubling our UK headcount in 2024, we aim to enhance our service capabilities and drive innovation. This office will be the central hub for our EMEA operations, fostering closer relationships with our customers and partners. We are committed to investing in the local tech ecosystem and contributing to London's vibrant business landscape."
monday.com says it is set to double its UK workforce in 2024 (from the end of the previous fiscal year), reinforcing the company's consistent regional growth. Last year, the London office experienced a headcount surge of over 50 percent.
To facilitate this expansion, the company is actively recruiting for various roles, including research and development, design, sales, and marketing, as well as partnerships and alliances specialists.
"We are thrilled about this strategic expansion, which presents new opportunities for our London team and the broader region," added Mor Avrahami, Senior Director of Global Facilities at monday.com. "We worked closely with the local team and our broker to secure a new space that will provide a convenient commute for our employees and serve as a central hub for our network, including local partners, customers, and leading professionals from the London tech scene."
monday.com stresses that its expansion in the UK is a testament to London's vibrant tech ecosystem. The company is leveraging the city's reputation as a global tech magnet to attract world-class talent.
The company emphasises that its new office, which boasts the largest R&D centre outside its Tel-Aviv headquarters, will be critical in fostering local partnerships and amplifying its market footprint, underscoring monday.com's investment in the region's tech and creative prowess.
