NFON UK and Radius Join Forces

NFON UK joins Radius Connect to expand Cloudya cloud telephony, helping UK SMEs meet rising demand for cloud communications. Published on UC Today.

NFON UK and Radius partnership

UK entity of NFON AG, NFON UK, recently announced a new partnership decision. NFON UK, a leading provider of cloud-based voice-centric business communications, is joining forces with Radius Payment Solutions. Radius is an impressive global business service provider, operating across five continents, in 15 countries.

The Radius brand began more than 30 years ago as a fuel card company offering diesel to transportation companies. The brand opened its telecommunications division, Radius Connect, to deliver more essential services to companies within the UK. The Radius Connect ecosystem now has over 120,000 hosted VoIP and mobile users. Adding NFON’s cloud telephony solution “Cloudya” into the Radius portfolio allows the company to reach a wider market.

The Cloudya offering will expand Radius Connect’s growing telecoms division and address the increasing market demand for communications in the cloud.

A Step Forward in Cloud Communications

According to the Managing Director of the Telecoms division for Radius, Ray Ferris, the timing was perfect to add this new solution into the portfolio. Radius chose NFON because the company loved the Cloudya product, the people behind the brand, and the pan-European reach of the business.

Over the last year, the market for cloud telephony has increased drastically, as businesses from all backgrounds continue making the shift to new working models which require far more flexible systems for communication. The UK market has gone through significant changes in particular, and cloud telephony penetration is set to reach around 37.8% of the market by the end of 2024.

According to Jon Dailey, the Channel Director for NFON UK, the NFON team is thrilled to be partnering with the ambitious Radius Connect company, which has excellent experience in delivering cutting-edge technologies to market and delighting existing and new clients with great functionality. There’s plenty of synergy between the two brands, such as the commitment the companies have to differentiating themselves with innovative technology, and great experiences.

Cloud Telephony Continues to Thrive

The new collaboration represents a fantastic opportunity for NFON and Radius to work together in driving the revolution of cloud telephony for the SME market. According to Ray Ferris, the Radius Connect company fast-tracked the partnership with NFON to ensure they could start capitalizing on the market demand for cloud communications as quickly as possible. The brand sees massive growth opportunity across the portfolio for customers they can guide towards cloud communications.

Radius Connect is also excited by the NFON product roadmap, which appears to be taking the future and cloud transformation into consideration.
