Nimans Partners with Intermedia to Supercharge Cloud Offerings

Nimans and Intermedia widen UK cloud communications options with AI-powered UCaaS, CCaaS, Microsoft Teams integrations and direct support. Published on UC Today

Nimans and Intermedia cloud partnership

Distributor Nimans has announced a strategic partnership with Intermedia to distribute its intelligent communications solutions in a move that will expand its cloud offerings for its customers.

"This agreement represents a strategic opportunity to deliver state-of-the-art solutions that help businesses enhance connectivity, collaboration, and productivity,"

Nimans Managing Director Paul Burn said following the announcement.

This announcement sees an expansion of the communication technology portfolio Nimans is able to offer its customers.

Building on Offerings

Nimans previously offered these cloud communications solutions to its customers through NEC UNIVERGE BLUE.

AI-powered cloud communication provider Intermedia, however, has since acquired NEC’s UCaaS/CCaaS Operations In North America following a partnership that began in 2020 around the UNIVERGE BLUE solutions.

Nimans will now distribute Intermedia's solutions directly, fostering a more direct relationship between the two and opening up space for better support and faster access to new technologies.

Equally, it opens up Nimans to Intermedia's full suite of cloud communications solutions.

These include voice, video conferencing, chat, contact centre, archiving, file sharing and backup, Microsoft Teams integrations, and more.

This UCaaS package allows Nimans to offer leading AI-augmented turnkey solutions for its customers, one that a 2024 Frost Radar report ranked a leader in.

“Nimans is a respected leader in the telecommunications space, and we are thrilled to partner with them to expand the reach of our solutions in the UK market,"

Intermedia EMEA Sales Director Philippe du Fou said.

"With AI-powered insights and automation built into our platform, businesses can improve decision-making, streamline operations, and adapt quickly to changing demands."

In 2023, Intermedia launched its generative AI assistant for its Unite communications and collaboration platform. Aimed not only at enhancing business productivity, it removed the need for users to switch to external AI platforms during workflows.

The partnership will also provide Nimans’ partners with training, technical support, and marketing resources to sell and implement Intermedia’s solutions.

Intermedia’s solutions will begin distribution immediately, with full support and implementation resources available to their partner network.

Intermedia Making Moves

Intermedia has been making moves both in terms of offerings and partnerships to expand its position.

Last year, its CCaaS received Microsoft Teams certification, and it enhanced integrated Teams’ capabilities by merging it with Intermedia’s suite of advanced comms features.

All the while expanding its Service Provider Program into Europe with a strategic partnership with Dutch Telecoms business Voys.
