Remember your favourite phone from back in the day? Well, it's going on sale again soon! The fantastic, and incredibly popular Nokia 3310 is going on sale in Europe from next week after the Finnish smartphone brand made a surprise, and exciting comeback. The grand comeback included the launch of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the new Nokia 6 phone, not to mention the thrilling delivery of the iconic Nokia 3310. However, the global release of the new phones was pushed back to the second quarter of 2017.
Numerous rumours emerged online which claimed that the phone would be available to purchase at the end of May, however, that may be changing now.
The Arrival of the Nokia 3310
The iconic Nokia 3310 has been listed across numerous European eCommerce websites. To the surprise of shoppers, these listings show a very different price tag to what the device was planned to be launched for. For instance, HMD global announced at the MWC 2017 that the phone's price would be 49 euros, but the listed price today is somewhat higher.
Within Austria, the phone has been listed for a price of 59 euros, and it will be sold from the 28th of April. However, some sites are currently listing the device for only 53 euros, to attract buyers. In fact, some retailers have even begun listing the phone at the base price.
In Germany, the 3310 is listed at a price of 58 euros, and customers can choose to purchase it from the 28th of April. What's more, a number of Swedish retailers have announced the delivery of a 3G version of the feature phone, which should sell for around 98 euros. That's a pretty big price tag for a phone that has a lot of limitations, and so far, there's no official announcement regarding the release of a 3G variant.
The differences in prices outlined above could be prompted by a number of reasons. For example, the taxes issued by the German government are quite different to other countries.
