Onemedia and PlexusAV UK AV distribution deal

PlexusAV and onemedia, a UK-based distributor, have agreed to offer PlexusAV's AV over IP products within the region.

PlexusAV, Sencore's professional AV division, has partnered with Onemedia to enhance the availability and distribution of its AV portfolio in the UK market.

Steven Cogels, Global Director of Business Development at PlexusAV, commented:

We are thrilled to have signed with onemedia as our UK Distributor for PlexusAV. We have spent considerable time reviewing the Distributor landscape in the UK and I am confident that onemedia offers the perfect mix of finance services, technical expertise and sales qualities that are essential not only for a successful launch, but in providing the ongoing support necessary for a brand like PlexusAV.”

Cogels highlighted that onemedia's team is not only highly experienced but also talented, aligning perfectly with PlexusAV's vision for the future. This partnership paves the way for both companies to anticipate a long-term and fruitful collaboration.

The Plexus product suite, which uses the open standard IPMX based on SMPTE ST 2110, aligns with Onemedia's commitment to providing comprehensive technical AV solutions, further strengthening its market presence in the UK.

"PlexusAV is the first brand we have seen to offer a full line up of IPMX-based products," added Will Hetherington, Technical Director at onemedia. "IPMX is an open standard which we are confident, over time, will become the leading platform for true ‘interoperability’ across IP based AV. As such, the PlexusAV product range has an impressive list of features that already sets it apart from any other AVoIP solutions we have reviewed."

"We firmly believe that these new Plexus products will provide system integrators with a more open and future-proof solution for their end users.”
