Panasonic Launches UC-Line for Cloud Comms

Panasonic’s UC-Line brings cloud UCaaS, SIP phones, VoIP, video conferencing and Blueface to Europe, helping SMEs and enterprises scale.

Panasonic UC-Line cloud comms

Leading technology brand Panasonic has just announced the launch of its first fully-integrated solution for cloud communications. The UC-Line product aims to offer companies around Europe access to state-of-the-art UC solutions that are ready to drive better future performance. UC-Line combines Panasonic's latest range of SIP phones with VoIP, UC tools, and video conferencing, starting with a roll-out in France and Spain through the Panasonic partner network.

For SME and Enterprise customers, UC-Line aims to deliver high-quality business communications via the latest in cloud technology. Businesses will be able to connect multiple remote workers and office locations with ease, as well as customising permissions, users, and devices to match their needs. What's more, free upgrades and maintenance will be automatically delivered via the cloud too.

To ensure exceptional convenience for users, all of the UC-Line services offered by Panasonic, including SIP trunking and UC hosted PBX are all compatible with the existing SIP phone lineup and PBX systems available from Panasonic.

Partnering with Blueface

To help bring the UC-Line experience to life, Panasonic has developed the offering in close partnership with the global cloud-based UCaaS provider, Blueface. Blueface is a StarBlue company known for delivering frictionless UCaaS and collaboration tools. The collaboration is built on top of an existing partnership between the companies that began in 2018. This working relationship has already led to the development of similar successful Panasonic UC services in North America.

The Head of Business Units at Panasonic Communications, Carlos Osuna, noted that Panasonic has already built a strong reputation for itself on innovation and pioneering technology. The UC-Line offering is a world-class integrated UC offering intended delight EU customers and partners alike. The strategic partnership that Panasonic has with Blueface means that the company can deliver a best-in-class UC solution that seamlessly integrates with the Panasonic PBX and SIP device portfolio.

Group CEO for Blueface, Alan Foy, also said that Blueface and Panasonic had joined forces with UC-Line to deliver a robust and differentiated cloud offering for the EU environment. Blueface is excited to be working with Panasonic on a new wave of cloud communications.

As a fully-hosted solution, UC-Line can give businesses access to a remotely managed and future-proof solution for their communications infrastructure, without the worry of huge upfront investments. Companies will also gain access to the various powerful features of the UCaaS platform for better control over their communications. UC-Line will give teams smart management opportunities from an online platform, which includes real-time reporting, call conferencing, and more. Additionally, phone systems can be configured using drag-and-drop administrative features.

Panasonic also offers a UC-Line softphone app which is now available on iOS and Android. The app pairs seamlessly with the platform to allow users to make and receive calls from their mobile devices. There's also international dial-in numbers and free call conferencing available too.
