The born-in-the-cloud business is working with Qunifi to deliver Call2Teams to managed service providers. The technology will allow partners of Pax8 to access a seamless connection between Microsoft Teams and existing end-user phone systems.
The new agreement with Qunifi follows the recent formal entry of Pax8 into the UK market, after the acquisition of Wirehive at the beginning of 2021. The launch of the new Pax8 UK environment has prompted a wave of innovation for the cloud company, designed to help more partners and MSPs opportunities for growth in the UK environment.
According to CRO at Pax8, Nick Heddy, the most recent Call2Teams solution responds to the growing demands of the hybrid work environment, which requires employees to access technology rapidly, so they can communicate more effectively from anywhere.
Integrating Phone Systems with Teams
The Pax8 Call2Teams offering will enable partners to easily and rapidly integrate client phone systems with the flexible features of Microsoft Teams. The solution will allow companies to connect through any location through an existing phone provider, supporting productivity and agility. Additionally, the Call2Teams product will enable companies to leverage the Microsoft Teams environment without compromising on professional phone services.
Users will be able to connect all systems and numbers to the Microsoft Office 365 environment and integrate with the calls feature of Microsoft Teams. The application and calling functionality can travel with users wherever they are, without the need for new phone lines or numbers.
