PBX versus Cloud - join the debate!

Is the PBX suffering a slow death or is it still a viable solution for organisations replacing or upgrading their communications platforms? PBX versus Cloud (UCaaS) Opinion Poll - Cast your vote!

PBX vs cloud debate

Sorry folks, this opinion poll is now closed.

A hot topic at the moment is whether the PBX (traditional on-site telephone systems) is suffering a slow death or is it still a viable solution for organisations replacing or upgrading their communications platforms.

The cloud crowd continue to beat up the traditional PBX vendors in their marketing campaigns, however is what they are saying true, or is the PBX still as popular as ever?

Market research shows cloud seats growing like fury and by 2020 research predicts that cloud will be one in two sales in the UK. The question is will it continue to rise or will businesses still choose the PBX?

As many cloud platforms struggle to offer the rich feature sets of the PBX, will they catch up and ultimately offer feature parity? Or will the PBX vendors surge past the new cloud platforms once they have their cloud offerings fully established?

Interesting times ahead...
