Peerless Network has been Certified as a Calling Provider for Cisco Webex Calling’s Cloud Connect program.
The integration of Peerless Network, now an Infobip company, with Cloud Connect for Webex Calling, entails establishing geographically redundant dedicated IP interconnections through connecting Peerless and Webex Calling data centres. While complementing the Peerless voice network, this ensures excellent reliability and call quality for Direct Inward Dialing (DIDs) and global calling.
Amey Parandekar, VP of Product Management at Webex Calling, commented:
Peerless Network is joining the Cloud Connect for Webex Calling program as a Certified Calling Provider. Adding Peerless to our Cloud Connect program will help enable Webex Calling customers to seamlessly connect to the cloud calling network."
Peerless established its Tier 1 IP network in 2008, starting from scratch. Currently, the network handles more than nine billion minutes of traffic monthly, featuring 4,500 interconnections, servicing over 200 LATAs, and achieving a reliability rate of 99.99 percent.
"We are indeed honoured to be partnering with Webex to allow their customers the flexibility to choose the voice carrier of their choice," added VP of Products and Technology for Peerless Network Jim Brewer. "With Peerless’ IP network, customers enjoy the highest quality and fastest PSTN services at a competitive price point."
Peerless has a history as a prestigious carrier services provider, offering a variety of services, including Toll-Free, PSTN Control, IPES, IP Control, DIDs, Local Transit Service, Switched Access, and Domestic and International Long Distance. The company also provides a thorough suite of communication solutions tailored for enterprise customers, encompassing SIP Trunking, Toll-Free Services, and Domestic and International Long Distance.
"Further, U.S.-based customers make their communications more efficient, expand their global calling footprint, and save on international calling," Brewer continued.
