Pexip has partnered with Poly to provide highly secure video collaboration solutions for privacy-conscious customers.
The partnership involves leveraging Pexip's business video infrastructure with Poly's video pro-grade technology. The intended results are dependable, seamless and powerful video experiences accessible from anywhere and on any device while being entirely secure.
Trond Johannessen, CEO of Pexip, said:
The partnership expands Pexip’s reach and brings its technology to a broader audience. Poly works with some of the world’s most privacy- and security-conscious customers across government and large enterprise markets. Pexip’s video technology is ideal for these organizations, and we’re thrilled to work with Poly to help them securely connect with interoperability at scale."
Poly, an HP-owned business, is launching three Pexip-powered solutions. The first, Poly PrivateConnect, is a video technology platform that aims to deliver a unified meeting experience with flexibility, customizability and scalability while maintaining security protocols. Customers can operate in their private cloud or on-premises and connect to Teams or Google Meet with its interoperability modules.
The second Pexip-driven solution is Poly CloudConnect, which will provide multiplatform interoperability for Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and video conferencing. Customers can operate their video conferencing systems via a central cloud platform focusing on user experience, customization, and ease of management.
The final Pexip-powered offering is specific to U.S. government organizations, including at a federal, state and local level. Poly FedConnect is a FedRAMP-authorized, SaaS-based video conferencing solution. Users can join Teams calls from standards-based video systems, all within a compliant and secure cloud environment.
Pexip and Poly hope this raft of solutions will provide their customers an excellent user experience by bringing a Teams-like meeting environment to existing video systems while improving sustainability and ROI value by modernizing legacy video infrastructure.
