Plan.com acquires Telserve Group

Plan.com has acquired Telserve Group as it looks to continue its plan to expand significantly over the next five years.

The acquisition will see Telserve expand to a second office in Birmingham in October to give the group a presence in four locations with more than 170 employees.

Telford-based Telserve Group will see its senior leadership team, including managing director Stuart Box, remain with the business as it looks to support plan.com's further UK expansion.

Dan Craddock, CEO and co-founder of plan.com, commented: "I'm delighted to welcome the team at Telserve into the plan.com group.

"They have an established and successful business model that complements our partner-led route to market perfectly.

"Our combined expertise will provide a strong foundation for continued expansion in the UK and presents exciting opportunities to build on our market-leading reputation.

"Telserve has been a trusted plan.com partner for over six years, and our newly enlarged business presents significant benefits and opportunities for our partners, customers, and employees.

"We're looking forward to working with Stuart and the team on this exciting chapter in our partnership."

Along with the acquisition of Telserve Group, the Isle of Man-based plan.com is planning to unveil its recently constructed "state-of-the-art" HQ early next year.

The company specialises in providing connectivity and productivity solutions to businesses throughout the UK via its my.plan platform.

Last year, plan.com announced a partnership with TalkTalk and, more recently, its MVNO with EE in July.

According to plan.com, customers will benefit from more choice, flexibility, improved wireless and wireline connectivity, and EE's superfast network speeds.

Stuart Box, Managing Director at Telserve, added: "plan.com has an exceptional reputation as a market leader and innovator.

"We're excited to work with them to strengthen the business' already enviable offering and to play a key part in the exciting expansion plans of our combined team.

"I'm really proud of everything we have achieved so far at Telserve and look forward to building on this success as part of one of the fastest growing businesses in Europe."

Telserve Group is a digital communications specialist company which offers a range of services to help businesses work in the office, at home or on the move.
