HP Poly and Utelogy have partnered to enhance unified technology management through ongoing Poly Lens support.
Utelogy Corporation, a vendor of AV and UC technology management, monitoring, control, automation, and analytics for the connected workplace, has announced its integration with Poly Lens, a cloud-based device management platform.
Through this partnership, Utelogy users can harness the power of the Poly Lens API, enabling enhanced operational functionality across supported HP and Poly devices. The collaboration between Utelogy and its long-standing Utelligence partner, HP | Poly, is pitched as revolutionising AV management by integrating advanced monitoring and control capabilities from Poly Lens into the Utelogy platform.
Robert Manassero, Director of Software Product Management at HP Hybrid Systems, said:
We are excited to partner with Utelogy to bring enhanced monitoring and control capabilities to our users. By integrating the power of the Poly Lens API’s with Utelogy’s platform, we are providing our customers with a seamless experience that ensures their systems are always optimized for performance and efficiency. This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the connected workplace."
With this update, both companies say users gain deeper visibility into critical device metrics, including call status, device models, serial numbers, room and device identification, firmware versions, and overall system health and usage. This enhanced monitoring capability aims to enable IT teams to optimise performance and implement proactive maintenance across all Poly Lens-supported devices, spanning video systems, phones, and personal collaboration tools.
By integrating with Utelogy, organisations can extend their control over Poly devices, streamlining remote management through a unified interface. This includes executing OS updates, initiating device reboots, and accessing advanced administrative functions. These capabilities play a vital role in preserving system integrity, enhancing security, and minimising downtime—ensuring seamless and efficient AV operations.
“By integrating with Poly Lens, we are enhancing our commitment to providing a software-centric, hardware-agnostic platform that empowers organisations to fully harness their AV and UC investments,” added Nicole Corbin, VP of Product at Utelogy Corporation. “This partnership emphasises our focus on sustainability and innovation, allowing our customers to manage their technology ecosystems remotely and proactively.”
