Pragma, the official UK Distributor of Ericsson-LG products, recently announced that they would be bringing a new cloud mobile service into the country. The service, delivered in partnership with the Tango Networks brand, will be offered as part of the iPECS product portfolio, which already has significant adoption rates throughout the UK.

As cloud becomes more popular throughout the UK and Europe, businesses of all sizes have a greater need for something that goes further than the standard mobile services available for today's corporate users. The iPECS Cloud Mobile solution from Pragma will bring fundamental PBX features that today's users need into an agile, mobile environment. This should help companies to accelerate their path into the cloud. The iCM offering removes the requirement to install additional applications into the communication environment. Users will be able to reach extensions directly from a mobile phone. Key features also include access to the iCM ability to implement users as part of unique hunt groups, as well as call recording and call transfer facilities.

A New Era for Business Mobile

The Product Marketing Manager at Pragma, Andy Herring, said that the company had recognised a growing need for cloud functionality in the UK and Europe. Cloud is becoming a de-facto solution for corporations in search of agile and scalable communication tools. The partnership that Pragma has with Tango Networks will help Pragma resellers to stay at the cutting edge of the cloud telephony landscape, by allowing for greater mobile functionality in the iPECS cloud.

The future-proof solution is intended to help organisations grow and evolve in the mobile environment over the next 5-10 years, with plenty of opportunities to upgrade and expand. The VP of Global Channels for Tango Networks, Pamela Strong, also noted that Pragma has established itself as a trendsetter in the Cloud telephony environment and that working with the business to strengthen its feature-rich platform has been a highly fulfilling and satisfying experience so far. Tango Networks sees Pragma as a long-term collaborator, well-aligned with their strategy for ongoing growth.

Excellent Initial Reviews

So far, the brand says that the reactions have been consistently positive. One of the leading Cloud Resellers for Pragma, Datakom released a statement saying that the iCM solution is further proof of Pragma's forward-thinking approach to the cloud space. The company decided to take a full-cloud approach a while ago with the iPECS cloud, and they have never looked back.

The iCM offering is just the latest in a series of exciting enhancements to the Pragma portfolio, and it's one that's sure to appeal to a wide range of resellers.
