Pridis has launched a new web client for its Connecsy Cloud attendant console.
The update means that employees can handle incoming business communications directly from their browser, without any need to install software on their computer.
Johan van Oostveen, CEO at Pridis (pictured, right, with COO Frank De Schrijver, left, and Consultant Ronald Wijnands, centre) said: "You see that contemporary business communication comes into the company through many different communication channels on the front end, on the back end you see that employees within an organization like to work with applications such as Microsoft Teams, RingCentral or other modern UC solutions.
“Of course, what comes in at the front end has to be connected to the desired platform at the other end. Once this is the case, you've definitely come to the right place at Pridis.
“The launch of our new web client has made us even more versatile than before. Users of our software have the choice of how they want to use our software. In future releases, we will even be able to scale up and down the number of users in an organisation more quickly, so that, for example, adding agents is done within minutes"
Pridis has been developing its web client over the last quarter to make it easier for attendants to work from anywhere on any device. It said the client has been built in anticipation of increased demand for remote and hybrid communication in the workplace.
The web client has the same functionality that attendants have become used to with the desktop application, such as answering calls directly from a call queue, visibility of a colleague’s availability and the ability to transfer a customer to another colleague.
Attendants can also view and search customer information and attach notes to customer profiles.
