Pure IP has achieved the milestone of providing full PSTN replacement services in 50 countries after expanding the offering to Latvia and Turkey.
The global cloud voice connector, which was acquired by BCM One earlier this year, also recently launched PSTN replacement services in South Korea.
In total, Pure IP supports enterprise telephony users in around 80 countries, which it believes acts as proof of its ability and intention to offer multinational organisations effective voice solutions and cross-border expertise.
Diana Florea, Technical Solutions Director at Pure IP, believes that these figures do not even fully capture its global service footprint: “We are excited to have reached the 50-country milestone for providing licensed full PSTN replacement services, which shows our commitment to serving global businesses that are looking for one single cloud telephony provider.
“However, while this number is significant, it only tells part of the story, as our global customers also care about the number of countries where we are actively supporting users, which currently sits at nearly 80, as well as the potential countries we could support, which is nearing 140.”
According to Pure IP, its enterprise voice service gives customers a “secure and robust” network, with features including local ring back and emergency services across all regions.
The company takes an ‘agnostic’ approach by supporting legacy systems and devices and enabling connectivity to various platforms, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, and Cisco Webex.
An Eventful Year for Pure IP
This time last year, Pure IP became a Certified Calling Provider through Cloud Connect for Webex. This meant customers could choose Pure IP to enable Cloud Connect for Webex Calling. Pure IP was one of a selection of providers that underwent a rigorous certification process.
