Pure IP have teamed up with Cloud Connect for Webex Calling and become a Certified Calling Provider in a move designed to deliver a secure voice network worldwide for enterprise.
As a Cloud Connect partner, it means Pure IP is now in a position to offer end-to-end cloud-based communications with yet another leading UCaaS platform. Pure IP's technology partners already include giants such as Microsoft and Zoom Phone.
Pure IP’s Managing Director Gary Forrest said: "Webex Calling is used by more than 6 million users globally. It is a significant addition which will allow customers with an existing investment in Cisco technologies to seamlessly adopt and reap the benefits of a cloud communications approach."
Pure IP Certification for PSTN Access
The stringent certification process for Cloud Connect for Webex Calling translates to a program that delivers PSTN connectivity using top-of-the-range providers. Powered by a robust, global voice network, Pure IP customers can now access the platform, supported by robust and flexible global voice network.
Forrest cited recent world events as the catalyst for change and the vital need for UCaaS solutions for enterprises; he stated: "The events over the past few years have accelerated the adoption of cloud services within businesses.
“Before the pandemic, unified collaboration and communication applications were categorised as more of a ‘nice to have’ than high on the priority list, with many organisations conflicted about being able to quantify the business benefit. But during the pandemic, these applications came to the fore and proved their worth, elevating their status to an essential business tool."
Providing Choice and New Features for Customers
Pure IP has identified that its customers want to solidify hybrid working practices and are looking for new solutions to consolidate their telephony systems, unify their communications, and ensure high call quality across devices.
An agnostic provider of voice solutions, Pure IP believes its new partnership with Webex’s Calling Service is an important offering for its customers, where they will be able to enjoy next-gen calling capabilities and the top-of-class cloud calling features that Cisco offers.
Pure IP is a global voice connector of 18 years standing, so it is not fazed by servicing the cloud. Forrest explained: "Cloud technology is not new to us at Pure IP. In fact, we have been selling cloud-based voice services for many years, integrated into a variety of on-premises and hosted solutions to provide secure external calling to users around the globe."
Bespoke Agnostic Service Delivery
Offering interoperability for businesses not locked into a single cloud vendor, Forrest outlined that for Pure IP, this is baked into the way it delivers, he added:
