RingCentral’s new AI Video features are now generally available on both RingCentral Video and RingCentral MVP.
The cloud communications provider is rolling out features including advanced meeting insights, RingCentral Whiteboard, live transcription, noise reduction, reactions, and remote desktop control.
RingCentral Video Pro has already added hundreds of advanced video features, RingCentral Rooms, and offers customers free meetings without 40-minute time limits.
Mo Kabiteh, President and COO for RingCentral, said: “Video meetings shouldn’t be limited.
“RingCentral Video Pro is a free and full-featured solution that allows any customer to run HD video meetings without 40-minute time limits.
“There’s absolutely no catch, and there’s no requirement to purchase a subscription.
“Furthermore, users can join video meetings directly through their browser without requiring any downloads and can also enjoy amazing new AI-enabled features.”
New Features
Advanced Meeting Summaries: This new feature makes it easy to catch up on meetings using AI-based meeting summaries. The AI technology also captures the most important moments in meetings with a video highlights reel.
Whiteboard: The RingCentral Whiteboard provides participants with a digital canvas for collaboration. This capability creates a map to enable users to navigate the whiteboard more easily.
Live Transcription: AI-powered live transcription transcribes conversations in real time, which is particularly useful for participants who have joined late and need to catch up without interrupting the meeting. Transcripts can be viewed during the meeting or downloaded to review later.
Noise Reduction: AI noise reduction automatically filters unwanted noises, including dogs barking and typing sounds, resulting in higher quality audio for participants.
