One of the most compelling events of the year for the audio and visual industry, ISE, recently took place in Amsterdam. Welcoming companies, exhibitors, and system integrators from around the globe, Integrated Systems Europe is a major moment on the calendar for many in search of the best way to showcase next-generation tech advancements.
One of the leading companies to attend this year’s event was Samsung – an innovator in technology solutions for communication. The company’s main focus for ISE 2020 was the announcement of its exciting new partnership with Cisco Webex, a pioneering provider of meeting room and collaboration solutions. On February 11th, select attendees from the ISE conference were welcomed to an invite-only experience focusing on how content digitisation solutions and employee collaboration tools are changing the modern workplace.
Samsung and Webex: Working Together
First announced last year, the partnership between Webex and Samsung originally came with Webex on Display – a tool that offers users everything they need for huddle space video conferencing. Connecting the Samsung SMART signage offerings with Webex’s Room Kit Series, the bundled offering makes meetings easier for everyone involved.
The strategic partnership in 2019 also integrated the Room Kit Mini from Cisco Webex with Samsung’s Flip 2 digital flip chart. This tool allows users to write directly on displays with a natural feel – just like using pen and paper. The Webex with Flip offering provides various business locations with the power to co-create, notate, and collaborate instantly on the Webex Cloud platform.
During this year’s ISE event, Cisco and Samsung introduced the next phase of their new partnership, with the Webex Room Panorama, featuring amazing 8K QLED displays from Samsung. Created for the latest C-Suite, this new offering combines telepresence from Cisco with incredible visual clarity from Samsung.
