Sinch and Synoptek enterprise voice partnership

Sinch has partnered with digital transformation consultancy Synoptek to introduce enterprise-friendly professional services for Microsoft Teams Phone System.

Synoptek, a Microsoft Gold partner and Teams expert, will enable Sinch to integrate managed services into Microsoft Teams Phone System with Operator Connect or Direct Routing solutions. The partnership was motivated by enterprise customers' growing demand for more flexible professional services that allow their staff to manage the implementation, deployment and support of the Microsoft Teams Phone System and the connectivity to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).

John Schoder, Chief Revenue Officer at Sinch, said:

We have a strong working relationship with Synoptek. By combining the power of the Sinch network and Synoptek's expertise with Microsoft Teams, we provide a comprehensive solution ensuring the proper implementation, support, and delivery of an organization's digital transformation to Teams for voice services."

With many businesses migrating to the cloud with Microsoft Teams as their primary phone system to streamline efficiencies and reduce costs, Sinch as a Microsoft Operator Connect partner allows these businesses to also migrate their voice services into Teams. The managed services produced via Sinch's partnership with Synoptek will empower businesses to complete their cloud migration more efficiently and diligently.

Sinch Continues to Bolster Its Position

Sinch has grown significantly as a CPaaS provider in recent years, including four acquisitions in 2021. These include the addition of email specialist provider Pathwire, the Munich-based conversational messaging firm MessengerPeople, and voice communications specialist Inteliquent.

Last year, Sinch was approved for Microsoft's Operator Connect (OC) programme, allowing customers to utilise its voice services in Microsoft Teams. Sinch also announced they would be able to provide access to emergency services through the Teams’ voice platform.

Adding Voice to Teams a Hot Topic in 2023

UC Today held a recent round table about integrating voice in Teams, with Sinch's Product Marketing Manager, Judy Arnold, as an industry expert. Arnold explained that Operator Connect is where Sinch is noticing the most in-demand for adding voice to Teams: "Customers tell us Operator Connect is easier to use and manage, deploy, and integrate. It’s a much less complex process — they get enhanced customer service and support and like the opportunity to choose their own carrier."

"Sinch Voice recently announced a new white-label program, Operator Connect for Partners, allowing our service providers, managed service providers, and value-added resellers to provide Microsoft Teams voice calling to their customers."
