SIPCOM Cardiff tech hub

The Cardiff Council recently announced that SIPCOM, a multi-national tech company, will be establishing a new tech hub in Cardiff to serve the increasing needs of their global client base. With its New York and London headquarters already in place, the company has already begun to establish itself as a major player in the marketplace. SIPCOM specialises in implementing and designing Unified Communication and Collaboration offerings for a host of clients, bringing everything from voice and video to instant messaging and conferencing together to form a collaborative experience.

SIPCOM's unified communication solution is designed to help people work better and smarter together, leveraging both public and private cloud offerings.

What's Available from SIPCOM?

SIPCOM's clients include a number of major brands like the Civil Aviation Authority, Home Office, Ralph Lauren, SEGA, Smith and Williamson and other major businesses from small companies to national brands. The SIPCOM brand works with global technology companies like Microsoft, CenturyLink and Cisco too, by providing state-of-the-art solutions for voice to businesses in a host of industries, using both direct and wholesale solutions.

The Cabinet Member for Development and Investment in Cardiff, Cllr. Russell Goodway, noted that the new decision by SIPCOM to set up a tech hub in Cardiff will create new well-paid jobs for industry experts and demonstrate the ongoing investor appeal of Cardiff as a thriving location, despite an uncertain UK economic environment.

Over the last year, Cardiff has created more than 15,000 new jobs for residents, and SIPCOM was attracted to the location thanks to its high-quality talent pool and the availability of various solutions for space in the Cardiff Business Technology Centre.

The new development isn't just great news for Cardiff, it's also a sign that the SIPCOM brand is continuing to move in the right direction too. The Chief Operating Officer at SIPCOM, James Davidson, said that SIPCOM is continuing to grow at a rapid pace with a 140% year-over-year growth within the current financial period. After an extensive view into the available locations within the UK, SIPCOM chose Cardiff for its 24-hour operations centre and it's excellence in the tech skills market.

Additionally, SIPCOM believes that Cardiff offers amazing guidance and support via its council. SIPCOM plans to continue expanding its operations going forward to global clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and other locations.
