Leaders in video communication, Zoom recently announced a new and exciting integration with LinkedIn's Sales NAvigator Platform, otherwise known as "SNAP." The latest partnership means that Zoom meeting participants will be able to instantly see the LinkedIn Sales Navigator profiles of their contacts within the Zoom interface, without having to conduct a data transfer.
The integration between Zoom and LinkedIn is intended to simplify the process of building and developing customer relationships in organisations by adding context to conversations. Video call attendees will be able to unlock useful information about their contacts without having to leave the Zoom meeting or switch to another tab.
Accessing LinkedIn Sales Navigator on the Zoom App
Once a Zoom account administrator approves the download of the LinkedIn Sales Navigator app, Zoom users can install the tool into their video meeting space within a matter of minutes. Following the install, users will be able to see LinkedIn icons located next to the names of each meeting participant in their contact list. When you click on the LinkedIn icon, you'll be given a new window that displays information from LinkedIn Sales Navigator, including profile details, shared connections, and recent social activity.
The LinkedIn Sales Navigator service uses the name of the participant and their email address to automatically find their LinkedIn Sales Navigator profile. According to the Head of Platforms for Zoom, Thiya Ramalingam, the integration represents a significant development for Zoom, allowing users to connect with customers on a deeper level during meetings. Zoom is honoured to be partnering with LinkedIn to help their customers access insights from the world's largest professional network.
