Leading video meetings provider, StarLeaf, recently announced a range of updates to its product, including enhanced functionality for mobile and Mac devices. Over the last few months, as companies have scrambled to transform the way they work, StarLeaf has recognised a growing demand for updated functionality in its service.
The Summer 2020 release of new features and enhancements are all intended to provide companies with a better way to work. The latest updates include an introduction of the StarLeaf Room experience for Poly. The StarLeaf offering is now available on Poly’s enhanced meeting room systems. This means that you can get fully-featured StarLeaf meetings with Poly technology.
Your conversations are still backed by the reliable and secure StarLeaf platform, so you can have a consistent and familiar experience across a range of rooms.
Summer 2020 Update Highlights
Other updates from StarLeaf include the arrival of the Today tab, where users can see crucial details in one place. In this tab, you can join scheduled meetings, start a meeting, or access a meeting with an ID. This tab will be the default view for users logging into StarLeaf on desktop, and customers can customize the experience to suit them.
Speaking of layout changes, StarLeaf is also giving users the chance to choose their preferred layout for meetings, no matter which layout you choose. This means that you’ll always be able to see everyone and pinpoint any shared content.
The new in-call experience from StarLeaf is now also available on iOS and Android operating systems. This will make it easier for users to collaborate on the go, sharing spreadsheets, slides, and video on the move with their device. You can even raise your hand when you’re in a Spotlight meeting on StarLeaf from your smartphone, and actively participate in any meeting. There’s also a new dark mode for iOS too.
