In late 2016, Unified Communications vendor: Swyx, officially announced that the SwyxWare range would fully support the SIP trunking services provided through BT Wholesale, thereby increasing the number of suppliers for voice termination available to UK channel partners.
The connection between SwyxWare and BT Wholesale SIP Trunking solutions represents a significant opportunity for growth and development in both brands.
Full Interop Testing Complete
The announcement was made by Michael Landin, the International Cloud Manager for the Swyx brand. During the press release, Landin noted that Swyx were overjoyed by the ability to connect and collaborate with BT and its Wholesale SIP trunking service throughout the UK. The system has now been fully tested and approved to work alongside the SwyxWare range, which effectively offers a greater amount of choice to channel partners who can pass on the benefits of Swyx's latest communication platform, alongside connectivity services offered by BT Wholesalers.
Alongside the announcement, the senior product manager for the Hosted Communication Services offered at BT Wholesale, Gemma Hutchins noted that:
"Further to successful interoperability testing"
the company could accurately conform that SwyxWare was authorised to connect with the Wholesale SIP Trunking platform. Hutchins also noted that BT Wholesale were looking forward to a new opportunity for working alongside Swyx, and providing services to the company's growing network of UK-based partners.
